I have a B.S.E.E. Not sure I would do it all again if I had it to do over.
I spent over fifteen years in high-tech before I got burned out.
I have an M.L.I.S. and work at a State Library.
I read a lot more books before I became a librarian.
My favorite programming language is still C. I guess that makes me old skool or something. (Though I thought Smalltalk back in the day was pretty cool too. Just never had a chance to really use it).
Plinkit is just too cool for its own good. I’m incredibly lucky to be a part of it.
I met my husband online (more or less). He’s from Stockholm. Now he lives in Oregon with me.
I love music. My long time favorite artists are: U2, Depeche Mode, Bruce Cockburn, and Moby. My newest obsession: Gabriel & Dresden (yes, I know, they broke up). I love dance/techno/electronic best but have all kinds of music in my iTunes library.
I watch too much TV. Really.
I have an iPhone that I love even more than TV and yes, it’s jailbroken. Some of my favorite iPhone apps include RSSPlayer, FlyCast, and BeBot.
I’m a huge fan of last.fm — I scrobble every chance I get. I created a last.fm group for Plonistas too.
I’m into all sorts of media streaming/sharing applications: Boxee, Orb, and Simplify Media just to name a few.
I twitter too.
I love to travel. I’ve been to many places and hope to go to many more.
